Greg Mennegar - What a great class!

I'm not just trying to suck up to the teacher, honest!

I'm really excited about this class and gaining some new insights on my photography and interacting with other photographers that are just as passionate as I am.

The exercise last night was kind of an eye opener. I made a couple of images I thought were sort of interesting, but nothing great. Feel free to critique, especially "this could have been better if..." type of comments.

  1. I really like the shallow DoF with the third shot with the clear focus on the center of the web address. The bokeh/blur complements the perspective, almost exaggerating the depth of the image. I'm liking the B&W treatment of the first with the empty space in the bottom 1/2 of the image. The 2nd photo I like but am wondering if it would be more impressive with a greater depth of focus, having all of the bottles in focus and the "broken" lines from row to row giving you the perspective of depth. Nice.
