I wanted to pass along to everyone to be on the lookout for the Sylvester Park Stalker. He was trying to disguise himself as a photographer taking pictures of strangers.
WOW, I too, noticed that weird stalker posed as a photographer and almost called 911. He moved from bench to bench and kept taking pictures of our group throughout the day, without even asking for model releases. He just kept lurking. I think what gave him away was the shorts, white socks and hat. I'm really relieved the Thurston Co. Deputy's camera recorded the scene with such precision. It must have been difficult breaking all compositional rules in order to capture the stalker dead center within the frame. BE AWARE - If you go to Sylvester Park, be on the look out for photog stalkers, people who want to show you the "only sunset picture ever taken" AND renegade seagulls ... it's just not safe there anymore, even in broad daylight.
