As my kids tried skipping rocks, I noticed the rhythm and shape of the water with each kerplunk of the rocks. ISO 100, F5.6 (wish I'd tried higher f-stop also), Tv 1/3200, white balance - auto.

I liked the variation with the mossy rocks and some white shells to break up the grays from the rocks.

The middle is my fav. Love the DOF. Have you thought about trying a B&W treatment with pushed contrast? Maybe a slightly tighter crop? Just a thought. Lovely shot.
